Hazelbury Junction depicts a busy main line station with platforms situated on loops so as to allow express trains to pass local trains waiting at the platforms. The station is a terminus of the Branch line to Greystone End station which has its own platform adjacent to the Down platform. There is a goods shed, a two road engine shed with ash pit, coal yard, coaling facilities for the engines and a town with a brewery and allotments.
