A what-if layout based on various real locations in Cornwall. Modelled on the harbour at Porthleven as well as the surrounding coastal area. Based on a branch diverging from the long gone Helston branch. The branch would serve not only the harbour and town but also the large China Clay dry and military traffic into the nearby RNAS Culdrose.

The layout is OO finescale and is set in the era of late 1991 through to the end of 1993. It is modelled in late spring after a dry spell. The china clay dry while busy is nearing the end of its life and is soon due for closure. Served by St Blazey based class 37’s along with other diesel locomotives, DMU’s and rolling stock from the era.
